How DNB, DrNB and FNB Research Requirements Differ

DNB covers broad-specialty training, while DrNB covers superspecialty training, including separate post-MBBS direct six-year courses in four disciplines. FNB/FNB-PD are fellowship pathways. NBEMS states that FNB trainees are not required to write a thesis, so the fellowship pages below support optional research projects rather than a compulsory FNB thesis.
